BOCRA (Botswana Communication Regulatory Authority) modified previous type approval guidance in order to uncover the adjustments which could influence the previous provisions. Therefore, BOCRA and approval interested parties had a workshop to amend the target audience guidelines in Botswana as the followings.
1.Note that in Part V of the ACT 2022 Regulations are distinctly and formally required these enforcement of approval provisions.
2.A repairman who is local-based is demanded.
3.A local importer holding dealer license is strictly needed in the new regulation to enable radio equipment importation.
4.Prior to any certified radio equipment is being imported by a local importer holding a dealer license, it must have a spectrum radio license.
5.BOCRA authority has adapted new price so the service charge for relevant cost is going to be altered too.
