South Africa’s communication for 6GHz (2023-June-27)



The information regarding 2015 Radio Frequency Spectrum Regulations is distributed by ICASA (The Independent Communication Authority of South Africa). The authority agreed to the arrangement of 6GHz for WIFI services henceforth.


As a matter of fact, the following frequency bands are:

5925 to 6425 MHz for radio local Access Networks (RLAN/WI-FI) applications.

122 to 246 GHz for non-Specific Short-Range applications.
