The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) of Vietnam issued Decision No. 14/2023/QD-TTg on 24 May 2023, which determines the phase-out of inefficient equipment and the prohibition of the development and application of a list of inefficient generating units in the roadmap on 24 May 2023, effective from 15 July 2023, to be implemented.
The above Decision also includes New Applied Standards (TCVN) and the effective date of the new standards for some Household and Office, Commercial Appliances (added new products).

The Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam has also released the latest Safety Standard for ICT equipment (QCVN 132:2022/BTTTT-Decision 24/2027/MOST), which will come into effect on 1 January 2024.
