Vietnam's MIC Extends Deadline for Land and GSM Mobile Products and Standards (2023-Sep.-11)

On 5 September 2023, the Minister of Information and Communications (MIC) of Vietnam issued a circular (No. 10/2023/TT-BTTTT) extending two different deadlines for products and standards related to land and GSM mobile communications. The details are as follows:

1. The validity of the following products and standards has been extended to 31 December 2023:

• Land mobile communication terminal: QCVN117:2020/BTTTT

• Fifth generation (5G) mobile communications Terminal: QCVN127:2021/BTTTT, QCVN129: 2021/BTTTT, QCVN 18:2022/BTTTT

• Fifth generation (5G) mobile communication Repeater: QCVN18:2022/BTTTT

• Etc.,….

2. The validity of the following products and standards has been extended to 30 June 2024:

• GSM mobile communication Base Station equipment: QCVN41:2016/BTTTT

• W-CDMA FDD mobile communication Base Station device: QCVN16:2018/BTTTT

• E-UTRA FDD Mobile Communication Base Station Equipment: QCVN 110:2017/BTTTT

• Fifth generation (5G) mobile communication Base Station equipment: QCVN 128:2021/BTTTT, QCVN18:2022/BTTTT

• W-CDMA FDD mobile communication Repeater: QCVN66:2018/BTTTT

• E-UTRA FDD mobile communication Repeater: QCVN111:2017/BTTTT
